Zinc spray 98% is an acrylic galvanizing paint with a high percentage of zinc (98%), which creates a metal coating highly resistant to corrosion caused by weather and salt. Zinc coating provides effective corrosion protection on a variety of surfaces, including tanks, columns, welds, gratings and joinery. It is also suitable for use after tapping, cutting or welding, to restore corrosion resistance. The spray can be painted after a coat of zinc spray has been applied. The 400 ml bottle covers an area of approximately 2 m², depending on the color of the surface, the thickness of the layer and the number of applied layers.
The spray is applied in thin layers, with several crossed layers, with an interval of 3-5 minutes between layers. For optimal application, the use of personal protective equipment such as goggles, mask and gloves is recommended. The spray should be stored in a dry place, protected from direct sunlight and heat sources, and used during the dry season in well-ventilated rooms, protected from the wind.
The spray is heat-resistant up to 600°C, and the thickness of the layer depends on the number of applied layers. The thickness of 2 layers is 25 microns, while 4 layers give a thickness of 60 microns. The drying time of the spray is: dust-resistant after 10 minutes, touch-resistant after 20 minutes, and complete drying is achieved in 24 hours.
